How does a consultation work and costs involved?
An initial consultation is 60 min, which includes assessment of current eating habits, weight, BMI, medical and family history, referral for necessary blood work as well as the identification of habits which prevent you from being your ideal weight and optimal health.
After the initial consultation a complete individualized meal plan and guidelines will be sent via email. Your initial consultation is claimable from your medical aid at medical aid specified rates, no co-payment to you. If your medical aid benefits are depleted or you do not have a medical aid, the initial consultation will cost you R480, all inclusive. Depending on your specific situation/diagnosis a follow-up, two to six weeks after initial consultation, is essential. The first follow-up is payable cash on the day of the session, R100. Thereafter quick follow-ups for measurements, motivation and monitoring will be charged at R50 each.
